Think what if you open your closet and
find a door to your room, just like in Narnia! Or your room turned into
castle or chess-board! Sleeping in a bed that looks like a pirate ship
or a princess’ wagon, as one can imagine, would probably fill a child’s
life with endless hours of joy.
The rooms all have their own design theme
in mind, all with personal touches, kid’s touches and of course plenty
of fun involved as well.
Children’s rooms are some of the most fun
spaces in a home to design. The creativity and concepts behind these
rooms are limitless when you’ve got little ones involved– and even
teen’s bedrooms can prove to be a fun thing, too.
Of course, arguments can be made for and
against these designs. Sure they all look pretty cool, but how safe is a
children’s room with ladders, ropes, and strange out-of-place edges?
But nevertheless such interior designing widens child's imagination and
helps to create his or her own identity around the room.
A child’s surroundings can have a huge
impact on how they grow and develop, so parents always try to make their
children’s living spaces as comfortable and fun as possible within
their means. I’m not sure my parents could have thought of an indoor
treehouse, but I still had plenty of pictures and bright, colourful
artwork up on my walls. Rooms with the themes such as basketball or
football can be instrumental in deciding child's future plans and also
keep him or her inspired and motivated about the aim.
Slides, climbing walls, secret hideouts–
it’s all an array of color and wonder in these spaces which will foster
kids and expand their originality and creativity.
What do you think about sleeping in a
captain's cabin or a spaceship? Well, there are such interior
architectures to help your fantasies come true.
What are your thoughts about a car-bed? A ship in your bedroom sounds cool?
But of all the above plans, the best way
to design your kid's room is letting him do it all by himself. Just hand
him some 1000 odd stickers and empty walls. See what happens next!
