Happy Republic Day 2015!
Wishing all of our beloved viewers a very Happy Republic Day 2015!!
Although
India obtained its independence on August 15, 1947, the Constitution of
India came into effect only on January 26, 1950. During the transition
period from 1947 to 1950, King George VI was the head of state. Lord
Mountbatten and C. Rajagopalachari served as the Governors-General of
India during this period. Following January 26, 1950, Rajendra Prasad
was elected as the first president of India.
To mark the importance of this occasion, every year a grand parade is held in the capital, New Delhi, from the Raisina Hill near the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's Palace), along the Rajpath, past India Gate and on to the historic Red Fort. The different regiments of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force march past in all their finery and official decorations. The President of India who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Armed Forces, takes the salute. The parade also includes vibrant displays and floats and traditionally ends with a flypast by Indian Air Force jets.

8 Unique Entrances That Would Make You Look Twice!
Great architecture is a thing of marvel,
all the intricacies of the structure and what it is meant to convey and
signify. Styles have changed over the ages and the art has taken
different forms but there are some architects/artists who have paid
special attention mostly to the entrances of a space. Here, are 8 of the
most amazing entrances known to man.
The
entrance to the Bockenheimer Warte Subway Station in Frankfurt, Germany
is just one of those things that you stumble upon while walking down
the road and marvel at. The architect was inspired by Belgian surrealist
painter Rene Magritte to conceive of this beauty.
Looking
like something out of a Tolkien novel, this is the North entrance to
St. Edward's Church, built betweent he 11th and 15th century, in Stow on
the Wold, England.
The
Ras Mohommed National Park, Egypt is a protected marine area, the
entrance to which is a beautiful stone structure over the road to the
park.
Designed
by architect Terry Nicholson, the Wonderworks Museum, containing
interactive, entertainment exhibits on space, physic and math, are made
to look as if they were ravaged by nature and dropped onto another
building.
The Dotonbori Hotel in Osaka has a very amusing and artistic entrance.
The
entrance to the children's section of the Cerritos Millennium Museum in
Cerritos, California is creatively built and definitely the kind of
place children would like to enter.
The
Oak Alley in Louisiana is a National Historic Landmark which was
previously a plantation. The entrance to Oak Valley is lined with
beautiful Oak Trees and it is just a sight to see.
The Back entrance to a random park with a creative imagination.

Girls Who Look Like Dolls!
When you’re six years old and someone tells you that you look just like
your favorite doll, you smile and take it as a compliment. However, the
obsession should stop there. Unfortunately, this is not the case with
some of the girls below. While some of them really do look like dolls,
more than most have undergone lengthy make-up transformations and even
cosmetic surgeries to fulfill their dream of looking like a doll. A
little creepy? We think so too!
1) Dakota Rose
Meet the real life Barbie doll, Dakota Rose, known to her fans as Kota
Koti. This 19 year old has fast become an internet sensation due to her
porcelain complexion, cupid lips and big doe eyes. She is extremely
popular in countries like Japan and China because her sense of style
appears to be inspired by the Japanese anime culture. This teenager
also puts up beauty and fashion tutorials on YouTube.
2) Valeria Lukyanova
This 21 old year old Russian girl always dreamed of being a Barbie doll.
After numerous cosmetic surgeries, her dream actually came true. Er,
Yay?
3) Venus Palermo
Known online as Venus Angelic , this 15 year old has also posted videos
on YouTube detailing how to look like a living doll. She has 78 videos
on her official YouTube page which give instructions that range from
make-up and nail art to dancing.
4) Alodia Gosiengfiao
Alodia is a 24 year old Filipina cosplayer model, artist and a widely
known cosplayer. She has been named by the UNO Magazine as one of the
Most Influential Women in the Philippines. However, her worldwide fame
is due to the simple fact that she looks exactly like the characters she
plays, if not more beautiful.
5) Wang Jiayun
This 17 year old teenager was one of the most top searched keywords
among the top search portals in South Korea. Although born in Kowloon,
Hong Kong she now studies in Shenzhen, China. She’s only 164 cm tall
and weighs a mere 42 kg. As soon as her pictures were circulated over
the internet, she was instantly labeled as a love action blown-up doll.
6) Chinese Doll
This Chinese girl looks as if she’s from a different universe once she dresses up and puts her make-up on!
7) Charlotte Hothman
Meet Charlotte Hothman who’s so obsessed with her Barbies that she
spent £ 10,000 trying to look just like one. She went under the knife
to get a perfect nose just like Barbie’s and even had her lips plumped.
As if this wasn’t enough, she dyed her hair blonde and spent all her
remaining money to buy girlie outfits in order to complete the look.
Another girl who looks just like a doll...
